What is the good? Plato bent our minds around this question over 2,500 years ago, and there is still no consensus on the answer. Maybe the answer changes from generation to generation. Maybe the good is not in the forever realm of ideal truth. Maybe it’s in the temporal realm of pragmatic choice. Regardless of where the good resides, we all look for it.
